Jordan Tour is delighted to offer a one day trip to Mikumi national park, one of Tanzania's most beautiful wildlife reserves. Starting from Zanzibar, our journey will take us to the heart of Tanzania's natural beauty. Mikumi national park is home to an array of wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, impalas, and many more. As we drive through the park, our experienced guide will provide fascinating insights into the animals' behavior and habitat. We will stop at various viewpoints to take in the breathtaking scenery and capture some unforgettable photos. Our tour will include a visit to the Hippo Pool, where you will have the chance to see these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. We will also stop at the Mkata floodplain, which is a vast open grassland that provides a perfect grazing ground for the wildlife. At noon, we will break for lunch at a picnic site within the park. Here, you can enjoy a packed lunch with a stunning view of the surrounding landscape. We will continue our adventure with a drive to the park's southern border, where we will have the chance to spot some of the rarest animals in the world, such as wild dogs and black rhinos. This area is also popular forbirdwatchers, with over 400 species of birds recorded in the park. As the day draws to a close, we will make our way back to Zanzibar, taking with us unforgettable memories of Tanzania's natural beauty and the incredible wildlife of Mikumi national park.
