Sandbank Picnic

Nakupenda Sandbank is located just off Stone Town, Zanzibar and it is around 20 minutes of boat ride to the sandbank. Once on the sandbank, you will be provided snorkeling equipment such as masks for Snorkeling purposes. (To be requested in advance of the excursion) The underwater world at Nakupenda Sandbank is unbelievably spectacular. There are countless colorful fishes and other sea creatures and to see the stunning array of colored corals and tropical fish off the island that survive among the coral reefs and underwater plants which together form the barrier reef ecosystem is Amazing.

Relaxing and try tropical fruits during or after snorkeling; fruits like Banana, Pineapple, Mangoes, and Watermelon are available. For those who are looking to completely relax or have an adventure and excitement. This is their answer. The trip includes the use of top-quality snorkeling equipment with guides and instructors, ice-cold sodas, mineral water, and the very delicious Zanzibar seafood lunch (If special food is required, please let us know in advance) that will be served on the white sand. We round the day off by returning to the shore by traditional sail if the wind is blowing.
